    For some reason my Windows 10 machine wont upgrade modules, and returns the following error message

    looks like you had a prblem connecting with the monkey server. May be it was in maintennance and is OK now? I just tried and I could download all the available modules.

    Have you made sure you’ve got writing rights in the Ted2Go folder?

    All the modules can also be downloaded by hand here: http://monkey2.monkey-x.com/module-manager/

    Oh yes, made sure everything had read/write access.

     

    Would only work by running wget from PowerShell

    Same issue here. Just create a folder named “tmp” in the Monkey2 installation folder and it will work. Eventually you have to give access rights for the “modules” folder to “everyone”.

    Ok, people who are having this problem will have to manually create a ‘tmp’ folder inside their monkey2 dir. For some reason, Windows is preventing the app from doing this in some cases.

    Also, can people having this problem just quickly post if they are using an admin account or not?

    Also, we can start an IDE as administrator, then it can get access to protected filesystem area.
