After some work here is the download page for both osx and windows
https://adamstrange.itch.io/fontsprite
I’ve added zooming and the ability to move the zoom around using the views. just click and drag in any of the vies for this.
Live help is also integrated – this gives you basic info on whatever tool you are over and if there are any special keys to modify things. it is completely dynamic.
left clicking (or ctrl) on the main grid will activate the trip-menu (shown). This gives immediate access to the null color (eraser), the selected color and 4 variations, plus brush, pencil and dropper tool (alt)
I’ve overhauled the paint system so that shift clicking either pencil or brush will lock the current color. this means that ONLY that color will be changed when using. Sort of like a primitive mask function
All custom monkey2
I’ve also included some fonsprites in the font folder for you to play with as well
Let me know how you get on with it?December 6, 2016 at 2:35 pm #5617Very Nice Adam!
December 6, 2016 at 2:38 pm #5618Thanks
Next up will be some selection additions and direct integration into ted21
Then maybe something map related that eats the fontsprites.
What did you think of the dynamic help?
December 6, 2016 at 5:35 pm #5619What is this Osx and Windows thing? got anything that can run on my boxes ?
December 7, 2016 at 6:01 am #5631I can compile for windows and macOS only here.
You will need to make additions to core mojo and std modules for anyone else to compile.

January 19, 2017 at 10:10 am #6631Where can we download those controls?
Wasn’t it you who also did modify Ted (called ‘Ted21’)?
Is the source for the changes on github?I can’t find the post anymore, but I think it was you who wrote
a post about all your changes and recommendations, but Mark Sibly
refused all your changes to Ted and the MX2 GUI system!?I’m interested in that kind of stuff…
January 19, 2017 at 11:10 am #6632ok. my version on monkey2 is v9.01. what version are you using as I haven’t got a working copy for anything later?
January 19, 2017 at 11:38 am #6633Latest official is version 1.1.20
January 19, 2017 at 11:44 am #6634yep it was me who tried to get all the gui stuff updated. and wrote Ted21
In essence Mark, has stuck with his vision of themes and because my stuff didn’t use them…
I actually use Ted21 all the time – it is virtually 100% stable and is very happy on OSX. It is actually compiled on 1.02 as I haven’t got a working copy beyond that because of the mojox changes. But it is on my list of thing to deal with…
January 19, 2017 at 7:04 pm #6646Can Ted21 run latest mx2cc?
I was sad when I saw all your beautiful work on a broken ship. And I must say I really hoped that effort will converge on one IDE.
Can we test Ted21? Is there a github repo?
The fontSprite is a nice and light way to create basic 2d gfx,Thanks!
January 20, 2017 at 6:08 am #6653I will need to download the latest version and do some testing. hopefully it will be compatible with v109
