Over the last few months Linux desktop has been gaining ground in market share.

    Year 2016:
    April: 1.65%
    May : 1.79%
    June : 2.02%
    July : 2.33%

With the Windows 10 free upgrade over and the the soon to come Windows 10-ifacation of Windows 7 it seems Linux desktop is now getting some traction. 🙂 Small gains but steady and growing. With Windows 7 users who still make up 47-49% of the desktop market having fewer and fewer options perhaps Linux desktop will see even greater gains this next year.

If you think that you want a secure, efficient, and modern operating system, you get other ideas. The tables have turned.
