After using Money 2 for a while, I have TONS of “conhost.exe” and “mx2cc_windows.exe” running in the background.
When I get too many, it seems that Ted no longer wants to open the exe it produces after compiling.
So I have to navigate to the product folder myself and run the application, which means debug doesn’t work.

    Weird, haven’t seen that before.

Are you using ted2 or ted2go? What version?

How are you terminating the app? By closing the window or with debug ‘stop’ button or something else?

I’ve used Ted2 and Ted2Go (newest dev) and always had this problem.
If you try to compile another copy of Ted2Go from inside Ted2Go a couple of times, it starts to happen after a while.
I’m just closing the application normally by closing the window.

    I’m on Windows 10 btw.

This is a known issue with ted2go – the process’s it starts up to parse code are somehow preventing it from closing. I can live with this for now…

But I’ve not had this problem with other apps, eg: if I run spacechimps and terminate it by closing the window, I can’t find any instances of mx2cc_windows.exe in task manager (or conhost.exe).

Once you close the window, do you get ‘Finished debugging app.’ in ted2go ‘Output’ panel? Are the buttons on the ‘debug’ pane disabled?

    I’m also on windows 10.

Yes, this is a ‘bug’ of ted2go parsing stuff.

I’m going to fix it this week.
