Hi,
I was just trying to install the prebuild binaries from ichio and it seems there is the exe file missing after finishing. I did it twice and saw that the exe “Monkey 2 (Windows).exe” is there for a few seconds during installation and then vanishes again.
Any clues?
System: Windows 10
Just tested and it’s present and working here.
That sounds more like the activity of an anti-virus program ‘quarantining’ it if the executable appears and then disappears.
Thanks. That’s it. This release was the first time the anti-virus program did this. These programs are really annoying sometimes!
Woo-hoo! Glad that was it anyway.
I’ve had the same problem since updating to the latest Windows 10 Creator’s Update. I now have to disable my 3rd party antivirus in order to build and develop with monkey2 Windows/MinGW. Monkey2 is not alone either; it seems as if anything that copies or moves big groups of files get locked up with an antivirus that used to work flawlessly.
