This would be cool. I would appreciate a package which works like a breeze, also together with a few really helpful features and can build and run right from Sublime, on OS X too. I’m confident that ted2 will be enhanced in the future but i have no idea when this will happen and how it will be like then. Even when it will be ‘completed’, quite some people are used to Sublime from all the other languages and dev also for it, so it will stay an option. I think it’s worth the time you need to invest into it. A well working dev editor is worth a lot, as it can speed up dev dramatically and make dev more fun and creative as well.
August 17, 2016 at 9:28 am #3109I just added the new modules to the language file. zipfile, sjonify, mojox, audio.

edit: I also added a few simple build tools for Windows and Linux.
August 17, 2016 at 7:48 pm #3150Added IF blocks to the definitions. Single line IF statements must be closed with a THEN. AFAIK, this is the only way to make this work.
August 21, 2016 at 8:26 am #3317I’m looking at implementing a linter for ST3. Which one do you think is the right one to go with? jslint? I’m new to this.
August 21, 2016 at 2:23 pm #3329Hi, and thanks. Hmmm i enjoy the moments when m2 allows me to be short and precise (with IFs, ENDs and stuff, even more as other parts aspects force you to write some more). Maybe C# withouht {}; plus some Pyhton and … would be the perfect mix for me, anyway i’m drifting away. Would be even greater if it could work without THEN. ;O)
I had this in mind:

https://github.com/SublimeLinter/SublimeLinter-jshint
https://github.com/Monnoroch/ColorHighlighterAugust 21, 2016 at 3:11 pm #3333Now I have the If block defined, you can end it with END. No need for Endif anymore; End/Endif/Then now end an If block. So it’s a 50/50 solution.
Is jshint already working with monkey2? I have NO idea how it works. :/ tbh: I was not planning on looking at a linter… Can’t be bothered really. If you can make it work then I will add it to the repository.
August 22, 2016 at 11:06 am #3361Due to your earlier post i thought you were interested in implementing one. Anyway you might want to give the links i did post a try. If you have problems with the installation, there should be videos on how-to-install/what’s it all about on youtube.
Maybe Mark, when fixing bugs and enhancing ted2, finds some of these features (like the color thing) interesting for ted2 too.
August 22, 2016 at 12:39 pm #3362I’ll put this on the backburner, sorry, as I personally do not need/want this and I’ve given it some thought about what to fill my not so available free time. So please don’t expect this from me in the near future.
August 22, 2016 at 12:59 pm #3363No problem.
September 5, 2016 at 7:33 pm #3685Updated this to reflect the recent release.
April 12, 2017 at 4:59 pm #7871Are you no longer working on this?
April 13, 2017 at 6:44 pm #7887Hi. Yes, I have not touched M2 for several months now. It is available on Github so feel free to fork and modify.
