    I’m a bit puzzled, I don’t seem able to launch the IDE via Monkey2 (Windows).exe.   Nothing happens. I’ve tried the binary distribution and instances that I’ve compiled with two versions of GCC.   Should I be setting a few environment variables?

    I’m running Windows 10 (build 14372).

    I had several issues with github binaries so went with the 1.0 exe.

    I just tried and this worked for me:

     

    download monkey2-v1.0.0.exe

    run inside Downloads folder and aim at Downloads folder to decompress

    go to resulting monkey2-v1.0.0 folder and run pink Monkey2 (Windows).exe

     

    well, it worked for me

    This is all very weird, perhaps even an obvious error.  The initial failure was with monke2-v1.0.0.exe hence the recompilation effort.

    I just compiled the hello world example on the command line however the resulting binary doesn’t launch either.  I assume SDL2 is statically linked.
