It would be good to get some clear instructions on what to do. Surely we can’t keep waiting for Mark to compile pre-built binaries before we get the latest release?
How do I change it to work with MX2? I’ve not used Atom, what’s it like and can you debug using it?
Can VS Code or Atom be configured to work with MX2 or is it not possible? I have been looking at them but have no idea if they can or not.
Does anyone know of any IDE’s that either support now or will support MX2 soon? I know there is TED 2 and Mollusk, but what others are being worked on? Would be good to have some choice when MX2 is released.
Okay thanks. I think I’ll wait for version 1 then. Is anyone working on a MX2 IDE and is there an ETA when MX2 version 1 is getting a release?
Does this release have the MX2 IDE or do you still need to install it in the MX1 folder?
I think there are a lot on names that you can still use the name Blitz with that are bigger and more powerful than max. Here are some that I can think of
Blitz Ultra
Blitz Ultimate
Blitz Fusion (I read that you wanted this new langauge to be a hybrid of Monkey and Blitzmax, this name would go well with that way of thinking)
Blitz GenesisI’m sure there are a lot more
@Mark You are Blitz Research and all of your best products have the name Blitz in them. Please consider keeping this naming convention as I’m sure it will serve you well as it has done up to now.
