I’d like to suggest a new tab on the console view.
A tab that allows me to view any webpage I wish.

When I’m reading documentations on file formats and stuff, I’d like to have it all inside the IDE, instead of having to have my web browser open at all times.

it’s nice right the same as hard to implement. 🙂

does this one use the numpad as pgup etc when numlock is off. Also space should cancel the intellisense popup 😉

If it does it will be brilliant 🙂

Yes.

You can disable “completion by space” in Prefs dialog. I’ll disable it by default for new release.

It *is*. 🙂

Some improvements in ‘dev’ branch.

• Output console: button “clear all”; filter text field; stop scrolling-to-end if we scrolled up.
• New build action ‘Debug’ (F8 / Cmd+D): you can start debugging even when target config is set to release.
• Find dialog: now work by textChanged event (when 2+ chars typed).

@nerobot:
Is it possible to configure shortcut keys? I would like to have
“Compile+Run” as F5 key, and the new “Compile+Debug” as F6 for example.
Pressing 2 keys (CMD+R / CMD+D) to trigger this most-used actions is annoying. 😉

@nerobot could you fix Tab when you press it on any line after typing some text it tabs the text along instead of from where the cursor is the original Ted and Ted2Go does the same which is annoying if your intending on adding remarks to the end of lines and want them nicely justified.

There is no way to map enums to string representation, so I have no idea how to show what keys are set.

If someone know a solution for that – please answer.

Hm, I can’t reproduce that bug. Do you use the latest version?

If my cursor is at the end of a line and I press tab – tab added to the end of string.

But I know one bug in mojox.TextView – when we delete last char in line (~n) then the next line still became splitted, but should to join with current line. In this case we have 2 lines without ~n separator and line number is wrong (looks like 2 lines but it’s 1 line for a view).

@edzup please, copy some lines with tab-issue into other text editor and compare them – will ~n go away or not.

I downloaded the latest version last night and recompiled but typing things in it for example:
'test
being after the t at the end and pressing Tab pushed the whole line to the right as if I put the tab at the beginning.

I’ve been toying with a IRC module, and it comes with a simple IRC View you can easily throw into any application.
So I decided to add it to Ted2Go, just for fun.

(For those of you who don’t know what IRC is, it stands for “Internet Relay Chat”, read more here: Wikipedia)

It works pretty well!
And could be used for stuff like “Live Help” or something like that. 🙂
It doesn’t connect until you open up the tab, select a username, and click “Connect”
So it’s not something that would be in the way if people didn’t use it.
It could even be an optional tab that you enable in Preferences if you just want to hide it.
(Btw why is there a Find tab in the console?)

Good or bad idea?
(And yes, that’s me speaking to myself in the chat heh)

@hezkore I like this ‘Live Help’.

If it’s possible to chat by all members and if we’ll add some categories like ‘gui’, ‘network’, ‘common’ etc it’ll be nice.

Read all chat history may be a problem, but need a try. 🙂

Another variant to get communication is creating discord group . Discord has desktop and mobile clients.

And there is an unplanned v2.3.2 release on nerobot.itch.io/ted2go . 🙂

(including Mac & Win binaries)
