btw, besides 3d. Collision functions are high up my lists of things that I want. A 2d polygon2polygon(area) collision function like that one in java would rock! 🙂

3d is what I would want to see most for mx2. I wil however be using the donate button to contribute. At this moment I think I want to donate every now and then.  I tried using paypal with the option to up it with money from my bank and it went flawlessly. I have donated a amount recently to blitz research. I do not expect to see a compettitor to appear that wil make a 3d option as good an easy as blitz3d or a 2d language as good as bb or monkey so I wil stick with blitzresearch.

This year i I want to continue learning how to make games. Rts/rpg/platformer/tbs/puzzle ect. I want to spend time learning how to make gfx/music. Maybe continue making tools like sprite/map editors. And I want to get back to voice acting/singing/rapping, which wil take a lot of hours getting good at it seeing it was 10 years ago since I did that.

If anyone want to get donations from me, I would donate for good example code/tutorials. Things to learn how to make games. I spend money on books that do not contain that much good information so alternatives are welcome.

    happy new year!

Well, I have no idea what the problem can be. I always just select new file in ted2go and paste the code in and it runs.

I downloaded the zip in this thread. That one does not work. I then copied the code from this thread as a new file into the same folder and tried to compile that. here is the error message :

    No biggy.

I like monkey 2 very much so far after trying the last binary release. The best language I ever used. I like the features that I learned about.

I hope to be able to not spend to much (need 2 new laptops soon since my current ones are 2 and 3 years old already) so I can try and use paypal to donate. I have never used it before so I am a little bit afraid of it still.

I did this last night. Switching from lists to stacks was no problem either.

    Monkey 2 Rocks !!

It might be less less gel like if the update frequency is higher. I have not tried a lot of different update rates. No fps tests yet. I also need to try and use smaller tiles so I can see what happens on a larger map.

I am still thinking on how to add presure to the water. It does not rise into certain area’s of the mines. It might be neat though having dry areas if you are swimming through a flooded cave.

I remember playing with replay routines on the Amiga. They were not that big in size but I never learned how they worked. I was able to create exe’s that played a mod that stopped after a mouse click.

I am interested:) I still use modplug tracker for music production sometimes. And there are so many good modules out there.
