Yep, everything I hear about the pi2 is good. Pi3 is something else. none of the distributions support the four cores properly. support for anything pi3 at the OS level is not good either.
It’s why I have a feeling that on the pi2 – ted would work and pi3 – problems. This could be to do with libraries and downloads – nothing is simple or straightforward
The hardware – superb!
The software – not so super
No definitely not!
This is really annoying. it works with the supplied 16×16 but not 20×20
The display bug is with canvas.drawimage if you zoom into the first image you can see the malformed transparency in the bitmap. I have no idea where that came from – it’s not my png
OK further investigation. Mark WTF is going on with the style system: the padding, placement and borders? Noe of this makes any logical sense. I’ve been into the style code itself and it still makes no sense. I’ll start a separate entry for this
F1 operational – you clever dude!
mmmmmm, I’ll look into it – thanks for the heads up on this one
Just to bump this one again.
I’ve tried every setting in photoshop for png and it still looks like the dogs.
Mark any ideas?
Here is the file I am using:

lol, Not seen Ted2 yet, but Ted was great.
Thoughts behind new logo was inspired by the new dark theme.
Here are the 512×512 bitmaps:

mmmm. /boot/config.txt
no GPU_MEM set at all
I’ve got a pi3, and a funny feeling it is to blame. It really looks like it’s got great hardware and virtually no support for any OS or anything.
It feels like it could be brilliant, if only the pi team would actually create an OS for it.
Thanks Simon,
Horizontal scrolling added with the minor edit to scrollview
The F1 is not operational, but it gives me a start in the right direction
Simon,
Just to let you know. I’ve taken the scripts menu item from bigted and incorporated it into ted21
Are there other bits from bigted you would recommend me adding?
Also would you like ted21 added to your sources?
Here’s the new ted21 logo actually in use in the OS X dock, next to Mollusc icon – looks great

Brilliant
in Modules/mojo/input/keycodes.monkey you need to add the following:
Command= LeftGui|RightGui
to Modifiers
There is actually a Gui definition already there. But on a mac this is Command or Cmd. There are also special icons used for the menu entires but that can be done another day
1 off the list
nope ted2 compiled, but not function.
Note sure if it is a library issue? Both exhibit the same behaviour:
- fullscreen window with just blank grey blocks denoting the four main areas:menu, document, right tabs, output. no text or anything else shown
- when the mouse is moved the screen flashes completely white, either settling on white or back to the grey blocks
- no way to exit
ok, sorta sorted. I’ve edited the themes file to increase the size a bit on both the scrollbars and dockers which helps a bit
tried compiling big ted – compile worked, big ted didn’t I’ll try ted next
mmm, interesting.
I did some (really) zoomed in tests and can confirm it is normal OS X behaviour. tested across apps, etc.
There is something about ted2 that seems to make this issue more pronounced. Most apps have different cursors – maybe I should also look at this too?
One thing that did strike me was the behaviour of some of the mojox components differs from other apps in that activation (the scrollbar is an example) ONLY works if you are directly over the scrollbar itself. in other apps this behaviour is triggered when you are over the entire (bar+background) control.
Maybe this should also be looked at – I think the same for the docker bar
