I need diddy2. NOW!
For MX it was the ultimate framework. I’m yearning for the MX2 version. Gonna see if there are any updates to it as I haven’t checked in a day.
Pretty cool. 5*

My mistake was not allowing AndroidStudio to handle it all. i.e installation of NDK and SDK’s for the various flavors of the Android OS.
Thank you, Mark.
An immersive brilliance astonished only by the power of God.
Or maybe just 3D Pong first so I can refamiliarize myself with 3D.
Hey….I’m here too.
Let’s shake our heads clear and start some fresh monkey coding. I’m ready…
Oh, for those new to MonKey2 or programming games, it is very important for you to participate in the community. You can do this by allowing any anxiety about; put it this way, fear and anxiety are gone now and you can post without fear of ridicule, any questions you have seeking help for any problem related to games programming with Monkey2.
We need you too to post if you are having difficulty understanding any particular subject, concept, method, used in programming games with Monkey2. Why? It helps those seasoned programming veterans to become productive and better teachers. It benefits us all, so don’t hesitate to post seeking help. It will always be welcomed.
Now get monkeying around. It’s absolute fun, and you will love it.
Warm Regards,
Amon
I know you lot have concerns about MX2 and where it is heading, but instead of being negative and bringing up the same issues again and again (eg The name… give it up, its not changing. The community split… I doubt having spent time setting up this site the Blitz crew and Monkey crew will every get joined), lets just focus on the positive.
I can’t count the number of times I’ve helped a fellow monkey dev either on the forum or via personal email, this community can be fantastic we just have to spread the word and create kickass products with a great language!
How do I +1 this post to infinity? Using MX2 code that is….
The Primary issue you have right now is that a) Mark likes the name and b) Mark does not give a toss what we want or think, he’s making this tool because he enjoy’s making it and he feels no pressure to bow down to peer or financial pressure so the chances of him taking any of this on board are slim to none.
I find this particular part of the post completely disgraceful.
Taiphoz, there are better ways to communicate without having to assault a person’s character in this way.
I learnt a lot from this thread. Thank you.
It’s MX2, or else….
Yes, very cool!
Thank you.
A person will program in whatever language they use and prefer regardless of what the forum for said language looks like, how many members it has and probably won’t notice all the pink and purple.
A programmer programs. A programmer with nothing to do likes talking on forums.
Productivity is the point. If you allow things, like the OP has mentioned, to hinder how much you can accomplish each day productivity wise, then you are thinking incorrectly for what you perceive your purpose to be; a programmer.
That is why programmers who live in the shadows accomplish wonders while those like the OP hinder themselves with stupid, non-relevant activities, much like starting threads like these.
Harsh, but true……………..

Is it like an operating system or something?
Hmm my bad. It works but the output is not what it should be. I didn’t check that. Apologies.
After reading both replies I went back and did testing I should have done when first reading the OP. Again, though it works but the output is all wrong much like therevills has shown.
Function Main is reserved I think? No?
Tested this though and it works fine for me but I didn’t have the code within a Function Main().
