    GLTF looks nice,

    The duck here –

    https://github.com/KhronosGroup/glTF-Sample-Models/blob/master/2.0/Duck/glTF/Duck.gltf

says it was made with COLLADA2GLTF, perhaps this one –

EdzUp, don’t give up. Try and reproduce the issue and post steps and resulting error condition you experience.

In blitz I would expect debug mode to check for integer divide by zero protecting the developer from low level crash and making it quite clear it is their fault.

I suspect you are getting many events at high frequency.

Aaron, if I was to author a book I would try an include such sentiments. Apparently a lot of GPU optimisation these days is around collections of arrays, not arrays of collections.

In terms of encouraging good behaviour due to some methodological beliefs, I often find it very annoying in monkey languages. As an example, open source but with enforced private access to underlying standard modules. For hacks and hackers it feels like an extremely authoritarian stance considering the lack of opt out for less law abiding / obsessive citizens.

According to SDL2,  macOS mouse wheel was “fixed” in the current version which monkey2 is running.

I tried to find the issue but only found this one which is about a patch for improved precision – https://bugzilla.libsdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2293

I suspect you will need a #if MacOS to fix this issue for now.

I’m not sure I agree. The example is a perfectly valid WAV with an additional JUNK block preceeding the fmt block at start which does NOT make it technically incorrect.

The fact monkey2 uses it’s own wav parser that expects the fmt block to always be first like the blitzmax loader is the problem here.

How are you installing OpenAL, or monkey2 for that matter?

I found on Windows 10 that if I unzipped to Downloads folder any zip with exe and dll files the permissions were stripped and I had to modify them manually. I did not have any issue when I unzipped to a folder I owned such as C:\tools. I suspect permissions could be the problem here also,.

Adam, you say windows 7, do you have any windows 10 users to confirm this is a win7 specific issue ?

Also, I thought we were statically linking to openal soft these days?

I am currently following portable sdk instructions here for initial attempt at an emscripten install on windows 10.

    https://kripken.github.io/emscripten-site/docs/getting_started/downloads.html#sdk-download-and-install

Success! I have Wasm build of VPaint running happily in Chrome.

I’m guessing this is MingW specific, haven’t looked into it but maybe start here:

Hi Jason, if you have an online server I can test with (or link to simple one I can run locally) I would be keen to prototype a hiredis based monkey2 module.
