The recommended C client for redis seems to be this one https://github.com/redis/hiredis which unfortunately uses a vararg based API but still perhaps simplest way to connect from monkey2 with a bit of glue code.

What experience have you had and do you have an immediate use case for this?

Are you testing audio directly from Main and not inside an app window method? From the looks audio is initialized after bbMain (I may be wrong) so that may be problematic.

The SDL wav loader “supports” not only plain PCM but floating point, MS_ADPCM_CODE and IMA_ADPCM_CODE so I would be happy to look into this if you can post actual sample.

I suspect the problem is to do with the mono property of your sample if things are working OK with stereo samples.

You could batch a big load of quads using Canvas.DrawPrimitives.

A module that did this for you would be quite handy but I don’t think anyone has done anything in this area. GL especially on Mac has pretty low overhead for discrete draw calls (compared to fill rate) but it may be a big win for GL-Emulated-Angle-Windows platforms.

Very nice! Although in future I think all screenshots should be rendered at minimum of 8xAA

Wow, David Maziarka use to help out with distribution and support for Amiga Blitz BASIC on the Amiga, a long long time ago.

    I would personally prefer Blitz3D + shadows over Blitz3D + shaders.

I think itch will turn out to be a good thing, fingers crossed.

Aha, I was not aware C++ 11 introduced such changes, not that I understand fully the details on that page.

Jihem, in C++ your solution would not help and IMHO would be prone to even more varied compilation results with Debug and Release likely to behave differently.

If it works for monkey2 (comma separated stuff ends up semicolon separated in C++) then it should be documented if it is not already.

As an alternative here is my guess:

    mojo3d lines of monkey2 – 18500

lines of monkey2 per developer month – 1200 to 2400

Or less analytical, if this was a road trip (featuring two minis), and Mark begins at Cape Reinga, I am hoping he hits Kaitaia by end of month.

Taumel, I am having a hard time with the MANY negative unproductive anti egl2 posts. If you have an alternative roadmap to Mark’s own then please promote a reasonable alternative or get off the pot.

GW, nobody is suggesting destroying anything.

    .edit.

Well, I suppose the OP is but I forgot to say that I don’t agree with that sentiment at all.

Heh, I don’t even have to wipe these days.

But yes DaY, I hear you and will tone it down.

Blitz is now open source and free. Legacy infrastructure has been put in place to show good faith and a small financial investment made to secure the value of the archives and provide continued community for active users.

It is not a place for inactive users and I think it is unreasonable to expect it to provide a platform stale BUID holders feel welcome to spout opinions on. Mark Sibly, Richard Betson and a host of other users have all expressed their dismay at the toxic environment inactive and destructive the code-illiterate opinion holders have created.

I reconsidered my Violent Femmes / Tintin reference and self censored. I now regret my actions.
