I think the most important thing is enjoying what you do, if you don’t enjoy your work, why keep doing it?

Monkey is a great product, it offers an easy programming language that makes development fun which is the main
objective. I think full-time employment is a great move by Mark as this could provide a much needed distraction. Monkey2 as a side project could help not hindrance development, gaining insight and experience from alternative employment (assuming it’s within the tech industry). This could possibly open doors not close them.
