@apc : can you explain why you need it?
Code like the one below will give you a fullscreen window on IOS, and then you have access to Width and Height and stuff like
´Method OnLayout()
Print Self.RenderRect)
End Method´
Monkey123456Class MyWindow Extends WindowMethod New( title:String="Simple mojo app",width:Int=640,height:Int=480,flags:WindowFlags=Null )Super.New( title,width,height,flags )EndThanks Hezkore, that is a very good and welcome explanation.
I can see several useful ways to use your module.
PS: I won’t be posting it as a user module, but it would be great if you did at some point.
That’s about all it shows. The syntax ‘[]=’ to append to an array is typical php WTF-ness!
I agree. += is nice though.
Thanks for feedback.
I finally got around to testing this on IOS, and it works perfectly too.
Cool stuff Hezkore, is this going into “Modules”?
[EDIT] : Would this work for turn based multiplayer?
This is now in the latest develop versions of Monkey2, thanks Mark!
Check out bananas/musictest.monkey2 that now has timed lyrics.

Alive and well but morphing uncontrollably!
After spending a lot of time on the “Find The Fun” fase of the “racing” part, I’ve moved on to the puzzle part.
Staying true to the goal of making a really fun game, I’ve been trying out vastly different ideas, and not letting the fact that this started out as a racing game distract me in any way!
I’ve also reviewed my target audience again, and much to my dismay, 50% of my target audience don’t play racing games!. I know that I want to target the casual gamer, and many of those are women, so for this reason (amongst others) I’m changing the game concept from “Racing Game with Puzzles” to “Puzzle Game with Racing between levels” In fact as good as the Puzzle part is turning out, I’m considering skipping the racing part all together, and using that for another project.
So no, it does not escape me, that on the wall in front of me, is a framing of Stephen King’s version of William Faulkner’s famous quote:
“Kill your darlings, kill your darlings, even when it breaks your egocentric little scribbler’s heart, kill your darlings.”

I’m not the only one contemplating this…

@abakobo : No SVG lib sharing at this time, sorry.
Well what do you know! I Only started using just “End” in my current project, so I stumbled upon this by accident.
Thanks!
@druggedbunny : Codeboxes now have “toggle code syntax highlight” and a copy button on toolbar enabled by default.
@abakobo , Regarding:
I have a little suggestion about the doc page. I’m actually using the old theme because the treeview font (left column) is a bit small/blurry on my screen. So a neater/bigger font would be great!
Please try adding font size like this in “theme.css”, and tell me if thats a better size, I think it’s a good compromise.

Can you do me a huge favor and try and see if this screensaver runs in your citrix enviroment?
I’d also be interested to hear if you (on citrix) can run a packed (d3dcompiler_47.dll, libEGL.dll, libGLESv2.dll,OpenAL32.dll and 3 folders with shaders, fonts and theme.) into to a single exe with http://enigmaprotector.com/ (Enigma Virtual Box – free version )
It’s works well for me, but I have not tried it on citrix.
Thanks for reporting back DruggedBunny.
I’ve limited the Crayon boxes to a max height of 500px for now, we can adjust that based on future feedback.
I’ll try and dim the colors, Try this link http://monkeycoder.co.nz/?customize_changeset_uuid=3776dc62-87bb-4d57-b66d-1c40f4811476 and tell me if that is enough.
Edit links made more clear. ( on Chrome you have to do a hard page refresh to see it )
[EDIT] : Changed forum topics to darker shades of grays.
@therevills : You are welcome
@druggedbunny : Good observation, I’ve made an “Official Addons” category, and put the paid modules in that.
Modules menu now has two entries “Official Addons” and “User Modules”.
