This project looks amazing Ethernaut! I am big fan of Houdini and Touch Designer a younger realtime cousin.

I have been working on a Lightwave 2018 to GLTF pipeline and got a bit stuck with both PBR materials and animation sequences. I may give up on lightwave materials and use just the name to index into PBR materials that are authored from in game material editor.

I just ran into this again today.

I want to support left button drag, right button drag and both button drag.

However MouseEvent.Button is an enum so bit testing for above drag types is allowed even though it doesn’t seem to work.

Edit: oh right mouse button has value 3, that I was not expecting.

I am not sure if it will help but have you tried with a complete url including protocol?

    this works on windows:

    OpenUrl( “file://C:/monkey2/docs/newdocs.html” )

For Supported Operating Systems I have ticked all options – Windows Mac Linux and 64 bit only.

Under VR I have ticked OpenVR and all controllers – steamvr oculus touch, xinput and keyboard mouse.

My current plan is to use MSVC toolchain and make Windows7 64 bit minimum platform. Now mojo can run using pure OpenGL it might be time to drop angle. Otherwise spec is standard SDL2 x64 binaries. Mac and Linux may not be available at launch.

I want to have game(s) in production by February so am hoping releasing a monkey2 package via steampipe won’t be too large a drama. Surely nothing on the itunes scale.

so find the first error, which looks like this one

    /var/www/html/tools/monkey2-develop/modules/sdl2/SDL/src/audio/pulseaudio/SDL_pulseaudio.c:41:30: fatal error:
pulse/pulseaudio.h: No such file or directory
    #include <pulse/pulseaudio.h>

which would indicate to me you need to install pulse-dev on your system before you can go any further

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

If you don’t want lighting on a surface can you just zero diffuse and specular?

I have been using this repos for gltf 2 test models at work, in particular CesiumMan and CesiumMilkTruck.

According to the spec https://www.w3.org/TR/PNG-Rationale.html PNG should not contain premultiplied alpha pixels. Is it likely the SavePNG function needs to un-premultiply pixel data before saving?

That version is freshly built by Mark using latest Visual Studio and I am surprised Avira is flagging it.

The original Blitz3D version 1108 distribution from blitzbasic.com is available for download here.

Any other other ‘reluctant community managers’ out there? Any advice?

Step away! I didn’t realize how much self moderation had been weighing me down until I read your post and reflected on my own experience as an RCM. There is plenty of scope for user engagement on github and until the community starts producing items of interest I don’t see much point in “spamming the crap” out of facebook and twitter.

    industry support for GLTF

Maybe it would be a good idea to start with the monkey logo and then work in a powered by.

No other language includes it’s version number except for maybe Perl 6 so I question the validity of including a 2.

Worst icon above (from a recent gltf support tweet) is in my view mozilla, hideous….

#10545 – Due to my style of keyboard navigation (more left and right and not so much up and down) I end up with a lot of lines that say end when they should read End which I find annoying.

There is more than 3 solid weeks of work required so yeh, nah.

Also decided Ted2go wasn’t that bad even if author refuses to fix my issues with left right cursor keys.

It was very interesting to look under the hood of the golang plugin. All the syntax and linting duties are done by invoking utils written in go. Accordingly a monkey2 vscode plugin may take 3 solid weeks of coding based on same approach, but a lot of that would be writing monkey2 utilities in a similar manner to way the golang plugin works.
