Yep, all working fine now.
Thank you.
That’s awesome….
First thing I tried….it doesn’t work though.
Thanks, therevills. Your help is appreciated a lot. Also, an apology is not needed as you’ve done nothing wrong.
Thread title has been edited as requested.
Ta!
I disagree with all of that.
I think it’s time to start charging $100 – $150 for MonkeyX2.
or
A subscription fee; yearly, at $100 but not for MonkeyX2. For accessing updates.
or
$100 for MonkeyX2 which comes with 1 year of free updates which is then reduced to $70 per year for the right to get updates.
People, well, from what I gather, would like a value assigned to digital tech. So let them spend.
Monkey12345Method KeyCodeToKey:Key( keyCode:Int ) ' copied from keyboard.monkey2If (keyCode & $40000000) keyCode=(keyCode & ~$40000000)+$80' If keyCode<=0 Or keyCode>=Int( Key.Max ) Return Null ' removed as back key goes beyond Key.MaxReturn Cast<Key>( keyCode )EndMonkey1234Local backKey:=KeyCodeToKey( 1073742094 )If Keyboard.KeyHit(backKey)App.Terminate()EndI added the top one to my GameScreen and the second in the GameScreen Update method. It doesn’t work though. Forgive me if I’m placing the code incorrectly.
Thank you though for helping.
Cool.
Dude, you’re on a useful tool/snippet/fix/module, mission. Thank you. Your motivation is quite impressive and I’d like to emulate that. I’ll try.
Those are very cool, abe. I like the style. The last one is very good.
That’s cool, abe. That would be good as the site web icon.
I’m going with cocon’s logo. I like the colours and style.
Yep, I agree, and, it all works fine when using “w”. So all is good.
Thank you.
That keeps crashing with the same error. When I print the path it points to the compiled .products folder and the directory is never created.
Success!
Only if I put the full path to the file “levels.txt”. i.e. sr.WriteInt(“c:/mydirectory/anotherdirectory/assets/levels/levels.txt”).
Anything other than using the full path to the file spits out the same error.
Monkey12345678If Keyboard.KeyHit(Key.F1)Local sr:Streamsr = Stream.Open("asset/levels.txt", "rw")sr.WriteInt(22)sr.Close()EndifIt now errors on sr.WriteInt with the same error.
Thanks for the help, also.
