Ah yes, this is new to 1.1.05. It used to be you could invoke a (non-virtual) method on a ‘null’ object, but this is now caught by the debugger at runtime, eg:
I’m really happy to see this change, beacuse I understood -1 of the old debugger behaviour.
In debug mode, I’m now shown the origin of the null error GREAT, but in release mode I still see the “Here!” printed to the console.
Surely that can’t be correct: – I’m expecting the app to crash before that… ?
Thanks abakobo, got the github version.
Checking out 3D now, looking great!
Ted2Go from 1.05 crashes on Windows when typing Self.anything here too.
Ted2Go from https:/ithub.com/engor/Ted2gGo (dev branch ) is fine.
Bananas version looking good! ( no images show )
On my mac, the helpfile does not apper, maybe because a “/” is missing?
/Applications/Monkey2-v1.1.05ABOUT.HTML
[EDIT]: Moving Ted2 up from /bin solves help file issue and show bananas images
I agree. With different templates for formatting.
But low priority.
@nerobot: It would be cool to have a “format source code”, maybe that could unify the way code is written.
Cool, great to see that this is still alive
Cool!
Just to avoid confusion: My post above follows the current instructions from monkey2 manual and does what https://github.com/juj/emsdk/blob/master/README.md. tells me to.
@pakz : Are you sure you force refresh your browser?
Tip: When Google Chrome developer tools are open, you can right click the refresh icon and choose refresh options, there is a “clear cache” option.I think my issue is related.
Platform: MaxOS Sierra, Chrome, Emscripten target:
If I compile and run a program it starts and runs from mserver.
If I then compile another program, the first one is shown again.
If I close mserver,then compile and run, the correct program runs.Thanks! reinstalling worked
For anybody with the same issue:
Got the portable zip (https://s3.amazonaws.com/mozilla-games/emscripten/releases/emsdk-portable.tar.gz) and ran ( in terminal from the install dir. ):
./emsdk update
./emsdk install latest
./emsdk activate latest
source ./emsdk_env.shThen I see this when running “em++ -v”:
MyMac:emsdk-portable myusername$ em++ -v
emcc (Emscripten gcc/clang-like replacement + linker emulating GNU ld) 1.37.13
clang version 4.0.0 (emscripten 1.37.13 : 1.37.13)
Target: x86_64-apple-darwin16.6.0
Thread model: posix
InstalledDir: /Users/myusername/emsdk-portable/clang/e1.37.13_64bit
INFO:root:(Emscripten: Running sanity checks)and in env_macos.txt I put:
‘***** EMSCRIPTEN *****
EMSCRIPTEN=${HOME}/emsdk-portable/emscripten/1.37.13
PATH=${HOME}/emsdk-portable:${HOME}/emsdk-portable/clang/e1.37.13_64bit:${HOME}/emsdk-portable/node/4.1.1_64bit/bin:${HOME}/emsdk-portable/emscripten/1.37.13:${PATH}PATH=${MX2_HOME}\devtools\emsdk-portable;${PATH}
I had the same on Windows and haven’t now. (was fixed in monkey core parts)
Great, I’ll test soon and report back
Is this Numpad issue fixed http://monkey2.monkey-x.com/forums/topic/ted2go-fork/page/15/#post-7760 ?
