thanks nerobot, tried the link a while back and the screen stayed blank, oh well all works now!
win 10. oh didnt know the difference . i have an older ted2go installed but i think it was an installer now i have a bunch of monkey2 files, not sure what to do with them.
how do i get ted2 to work?
@richards just to add my 2cents… think of it as quarantine, it stays there and doesn’t affect us, if its gonna happen its gonna happen. i joined a racing forum and people wanted a certain thread shut down for bashing the game and devs and just lots of negativity, and the devs thinking ahead said no lets give them that room cause it will just keep happening for one and it will spill over to other threads…so it might not be a bad thing. i read most of this so hope im not off topic.

as a rookie i have a major request for those making tutorials, first thank you, when naming variables can you pls pls pls name them relative to its function. sometime xx, yd, bxy… can be very confusing especially when there is no explanation for the code. i think this is critical for learning, it would stink to have tons of tutorials beginners are fighting to get through. thanks again hope you all get this up and running!!!
cool! when you say monkey 1 version you’re talking about the module not a separate program. so if i buy timeline i can use it with both monkey1 and 2 realtime? sorry got confused.

The interesting thing is, that it has been brought up time and time again since 2012. So there seems to be something “rubbing” people the wrong way. To be honest, we have no idea how many people that are, or if it’s just a handful of people. So to solve this “the right way” you would actually need data (like a survey).
PS: I don’t think anyone here suggesting a name change does so because of “monkey hate”. It’s simply that we are very passionate about this product, care, and want as many other people as possible seeing that too.
i do agree with you, i think marketing itself is a black art, even down to the color scheme, if all the pieces dont line up it can spell disaster. i was just saying in the end its Mark’s call and if he wants help he should have no problem finding it here
Yeah this, it definitely rings of “silly monkey”, “silly billy”, etc.
dont forget what else monkeys are known for…strength and intelligence!! which need to be highlighted. and 2 things you can definitely associate with this language.
their playfulness is mistaken for sillyness imo.
