How the …. what the … am I dreaming?
I’m happy as a clam for Mark !
I’m surprised about “from scratch” but looking forward to see what comes of it !!
I plan to use Monkey2/Pyro2 for something instead of just lurking on the forums and waiting for updates.
Hope the office situation works out for you and Patreon $ increases to 3D-tastic levels !!
We were calling it MX2 before it had a real name. Kind of like calling a new baby some cute nickname and they get older and complain about it. Hard to stop calling them that.
Ooh, how close do you have this being in a voxel scene running in Monkey2 ? I’ve always wondered how speedy voxel engines can be.
skn3 nice to see you back and using mx2 looking forward to what you put out
It would be nice to have more lambda examples in docs so we can see how this feature is useful for applications/games.
Editor looks good
Are scenegraph and gui modules complete ? And is there Box2D support yet ?
September 21, 2016 at 6:05 pm in reply to: Your help in my decision please. Mx2 ready to start mobile project? #4051Selfishly I would say use Monkey2 so any bugs or omissions you find will be pushed to Mark and hopefully make everything better for the rest of us.
Mark pumped out Android rather quickly (seemed that way to me) but only he can say when iOS is coming…
I say DO IT !
Very clean looking
Windows 7 Chrome and it looked good to me. Running Chrome Version 52.0.2743.116 m
Excellent work!
Can you add an option to have a skinny cursor? The fat cursor makes me feel like I’m coding on the C64 again, or that I’m in “overwrite” mode or something.
I agree and I was surprised there was a 2nd website for Monkey2 … and still not sure why it was done. Don’t know how best to combine them or if Mark has a really good reason to make another break.
Wow lots of good changes. Will this be brought back into the “trunk” or whatever … the main Ted2 IDE ?
Any chance of getting intellisense added ? Sounds hard to do but figured I would ask.
