Interesting…
What would the minimum specification be for a MX2 game on Windows and Mac?
Also any word on Vulkan API?
Haha!
I’ll have to have a good play over the weekend
(BTW luadist folder is still there)
Okay… but when using the zip from GitHub it doesnt get included… also what happens if they remove the repos? (not saying they will… but you never know ;))
Cool!
When I download mx2lua via the GitHub zip link, the native/luadist is empty? Is it because you’ve directly linked to the Lua project instead of copying to your project?
I would guess if they changed their code it might mess up your project… might be safer if you copy the current version of Lua into native/luadist and update it when needed.
Modifier is an Enum defined in mojo/input/keycodes.monkey2.
The primary reason for embedding Lua is to add scripting to your game logic (enemies, bullets, GUI, etc.),
Thats what I’m after
Sweet!
Have you tested using an extra lua script yet and reload on the fly?
Diddy2 is in the works, we could try that if you want
Just a thought… maybe Ted2 should have its own Git repos by itself?
Yes MX2 should have detected that – raise a bug over on GitHub
I would love to, but I never find enough time for 24/48 hour jams… I prefer either at least a week or 2.
Next time maybe
Nice!
Very nice! Wondered when you would get around to this!
Now you just need to Monkeyised the commands
Haha! Nice hack Matt!
